    The Centre has always been a leader to introduce new courses on very nominal courses fees. From January 2003, we are introducing 3 new courses which are as under:
   
  • Ceramic Flower: A 3 months regular course in which students will learn to create flowers from ceramic powder.
  • Wood Craft: This course will teach the students how to create different designs, words and shapes from plywood by using scroll saw.
  • Shell Craft: Students will use different shells to create so many beautiful wall hangings, mirrors, frames etc.

    The Annual Art & Craft Exhibition will be held on 8th & 9th January 2003 in which the students will display their quality work. This exhibition is arranged by the Centre to promote the students and all the expenses of the exhibition is borne by the Centre.

  • Annual Healthy Baby Competition is scheduled for 23rd December in which A healthy Baby and a Best Mother will be selected and awarded prizes and gifts.
  • The Opening Ceremony of the newly extended Education Building was held on 31st August, 2002 and Maj. (R) Agha Massod Hasan, Director General, Pakistan Post Office was the Chief Guest. At this occasion Mrs. Banu Rangoonwal, Senior Trustee, Mr. Asif Rangoonwala, Managing Trustee, Mr. Tariq Rangoonwala & Mr. Khalid Rangoonwala, Trustees alongwith other distinguished guests were also present.
  • Pakistan Post Office has launched a Rs.4.00 commemorative stamp in honor of Late M. A. Rangoonwala for recognition of his services to humanity.
   
           
 
   
  • The Centre has awarded a shield to Mrs. Majida Nazir in recognition of here 25 years of dedicated services to this Centre. Mrs. Majida Nazir is taking Sewing & Cutting classes in this Centre and received the shield from the Chief Guest, Maj. Gen. (R) Agha Masood Hasan on 31st August 2002.
  • The staff of Rangoonwala Community Cnetre hosted a lunch in honor of Mrs. Banu Rangoonwala, Senior Trustee, Mr. Asif Rangoonwala, Managing Trustee, Mr. Khalid Rangoonwala & Mr. Khalid Rangoonwala, Trustees awarded them the shields to show their love and affection towards the Family.
