The V. M. Art Gallery is the brainchild of Mr. Asif Rangoonwal present Managing Trustee.
It was established as a part of the Rangoonwala Trust in June 1987 to promote art education in general and fine arts in particular, and to provide much needed outlet for painters, old and young, to display their works befittingly. It has thus served as a springboard for several budding artists, who today exhibit their works far and wide. In a brief span of 14 years, the Gallery has achieved the distinction of exhibiting Pakistan's masters and hosting art exhibitions from England, Holland, France, China, Sri Lanka, Turkey, Canada, Australia, Italy, and Malaysia. Initially, such exhibitions were organized to familiarize Pakistani artists and art lovers with creative works from other parts of the world. In due course however, such exhibitions have become a regular feature of the Gallery's on-going programme.

The V. M. Art Gallery is on hire for art exhibitions and displays. The gallery has been completely refurbished fitted  out to create two new intimate spaces for the display of old, modern and contemporary art. Installation facilities for displaying, laying out, assemblage,  suspension,  grouping of objects  d'art  and  artifacts  are also  available. The thematic factors radiate an atmosphere that is welcoming and dignified, yet essentially contemporary.  The  gallery's  individual  features  are

enhanced by refracted natural light captured  by  glass  frontage, which may dexterously be combined with artificial light to illuminate displays. Another special feature is the split level wider gallery which is ideal for the display of all forms of two or three dimensional works of art. From the lower floor of the gallery a purposefully designed staircase leads up to a spacious two-winged art space suitable for displaying smaller works of art for more intimate viewing.
